Wow Australia was AMAZING!
So I just finished watching a movie that I have been wanting to see for awhile & was never able to see it in the movies. All that I can say right now is WOW! If any of you have seen this film, I hope that you agree with me because it was awesome!! For all those who haven't seen it, I suggest that you go out rent it and watch it! Australia was not what I expected at all. Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman were simply brilliant. I don't know the actors name for the little kid in the movie, but he was just as amazing as the other two. I don't want to give any of the plot away or any of the storyline, all that I'm going to say is this movie left me feeling happy, sad, nervous, anxious, angry, & frustrated. It had all of the different genres involved as well. It was a love story, then a war film, then drama, then funny at time, it simply left me taken back. It was very different and defiently a unique film. After seeing it just once, I claim this film in my top 5 movies of all time! Go watch it ahhh!! =))

I don't know. This one looks like one of the huge, sprawling, ambitious pieces of you-know-what. "A torrid romance set amid the carnage of a world gone mad."

This is quite interesting. From afar, I did not think that it would be a good movie but I have heard from a few different people that it actually was a good movie, and some people loved it. I was kind of surprised from some of the reviews I had heard of it, and it didn't exactly appeal to me because those are not the type of movies that I enjoy but I may not to reconsider since you enjoyed it so much.

ReplyDeleteHugh Jackman yes is an awesome actor and so is nicole kidman, however, i didn't base my liking of the movie on their acting. It helped that they fit the character roles and played them really good but just in general it was a different kind of movie. From seeing the previews, I figured it was going to be another war story just taken place in a different region, but it turned out I was completely wrong! The movie is pretty long but I'm so glad it was because I didn't want it to end. So much happens in it, where at first I was a little confused but it eventally sums it all up. Also what I really liked about Australia was that is was very very different. I don't want to say any spoilers but one of the storylines is something very fascinating and you learn of a generation of people many of us have no clue what there about. Just go watch it, I promise you won't regret it =)))
